Acceptance

By using subnetmaskcalc.net (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

What this Service is

subnetmaskcalc.net provides free, browser-based subnet calculators, planning tools, learning materials, and exportable configuration generators. All processing happens in your browser. There is no account system.

Acceptable use

You may use the Service for any lawful purpose, including:

• Planning IPv4 or IPv6 subnets for personal, educational, or commercial networks
• Generating Infrastructure-as-Code for production use
• Learning subnetting via the Learn Center
• Sharing share-links and embedding the cheat sheet PDF in your own materials

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools to scrape or republish content in a way that could harm the Service or other users
• Attempt to interfere with the Service's operation
• Use the Service to plan or design networks for unlawful purposes
• Misrepresent the Service or its origin

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

While we work to ensure the calculations and code generators are correct, you are responsible for validating results before applying them to production networks. Always test before deploying.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, subnetmaskcalc.net and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses — resulting from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. This includes damages from misconfigurations based on calculator outputs, exported IaC code, or AI Assistant recommendations.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, code, and content, is owned by the operators of subnetmaskcalc.net or its licensors. You may share links freely, embed result share-URLs, and use exported IaC code in your own projects. You may print or download the cheat sheet PDF for personal or team use.

Code you generate

Any Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, Pulumi, Ansible, Cisco IOS, or Kubernetes YAML output generated by the IaC Export tool is yours to use however you want, with no attribution required.

Third parties

The Service loads fonts from Google Fonts and jsPDF from cdnjs. Their terms apply when their assets are served to your browser. We're not affiliated with these providers.

Privacy

Use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Short version: we don't collect data from you.

Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction. Disputes that can't be resolved by direct contact will be handled in courts of that jurisdiction.
